Sarah graduated from St Loyes School of Occupational Therapy, Exeter, in 1986.
She has extensive experience of working as an occupational therapist and this has enabled her to develop an awareness of the difficulties associated with illness and disability for children/young people and their families.
Through working within multidisciplinary teams she has developed a good understanding of the importance of an integrated approach centering on the needs of the child/young person and their family.
Sarah joined Independent Living Solutions Ltd in 2007.
As a skilled experienced Occupational Therapist Sarah is able to identify needs through assessment and broker solutions to address her clients’ needs and support their families and carers. Sarah has a particular interest in moving and handling issues and remains a member of ISL moving and handling service
Case Manager and Occupational Therapist with children and young people of varying diagnosis. Areas of expertise include housing adaptations, moving and handling, equipment provision and postural management.

July 1986 – June 1987 Occupational Therapist, Twyver Unit, Gloucester. Assessment unit for people with a learning disability.
