Overview

Jackie qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2002 after studying at the University of Teesside.

Since that time she has expertise of working with both adults and children with a variety of different conditions. Jackie’s main area of expertise is working with children and young adults, especially planning and provision of adaptations, provision of specialist equipment and postural management. Jackie is also a COT apple accredited fieldwork educator and regularly supervises undergraduate students on fieldwork placement. Jackie is a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist who is responsible for the day to day management and supervision of a team of 5 children’s therapists alongside managing a case load of complex children’s cases. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist Jackie worked as a team manager in the financial services industry where she was responsible for the day to day management of staff and team recruitment.
