Overview
Tracey qualified in 1992 with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from the West Midlands School of Occupational Therapy, Coventry University. Tracey has experience working in rehabilitation, Brain Injury and Neurology. For ten years, prior to joining ILS, she worked for Social Services in Paediatric and Adult Services, majoring in complex cases and has also worked as an Independent Practitioner.

2007 – Present Case Manager/Occupational Therapist with Independent Living Solutions.
2005 – Present Independent practice: Providing occupational therapy and case management services to an Ex-Serviceman’s charity, Housing Association and private sector rehabilitation services.
2002 - 2007 Kent County Council: Senior Occupational Therapist (Social Services). Managed complex cases in paediatrics and adult services. Supervision and training/teaching of staff and deputising for Team Leader.
1997 - to 2002 Surrey County Council: Social Services Occupational Therapist, all age groups, including supervision of staff.
1996 – 1997 The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Sq. London
Inpatient and outpatient services and supervision/training of staff and students.
1994 – 1996 Tolworth Hospital – Stroke Unit. Providing occupational therapy and assisting in the development of this new 15 bedded unit. Supervision and teaching of staff and students.
1993 - 1994 Chailey Heritage – Developing a new post in the specialist paediatric brain injury unit within an inter-disciplinary team.
1992 – 1993 Care of the elderly rehabilitation at Glenfield General Hospital, Leicester and also Horsham Community Hospital, West Sussex.
1990 and 1991 Occupational Therapy Assistant at Lyndon Psychiatric Day Clinic, Solihull and also East Birmingham Community Mental Health Unit.

Tracey is able to work with all age groups. She has gained extensive experience of equipment and adaptations, manual handling and complex cases throughout her career. Tracey has a special interest in working with Adults with Acquired Brain Injury. She is also able to offer Occupational Therapy treatment as well as Case Management services to adult clients.
