Overview

Stefanie qualified in 1987 from Salford School of Occupational Therapy with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy. Initially she started working with older adults both with physical and psychological difficulties. Since 1996 Stefanie has been working with clients with acquired brain injury, predominantly in a post acute rehabilitation setting. During that time, working with a national leading provider of brain injury services, Stefanie worked with clients on an individual and group basis. She was particularly interested and involved in the transition home including inter-agency working to ensure the best possible rehabilitation and support was provided for her clients. Latterly, she developed an interest in Vocational Rehabilitation and accessing/adapting appropriate educational options for clients and has since moved to a new job to develop this role with-in a community setting.
