Sarah qualified as an Occupational Therapist from Salford School of Occupational Therapy in 1986.  Since then she has worked extensively within the UK and abroad.

Sarah has extensive experience working with brain injured clients in statutory and private settings.

She has worked with adolescents and adults with a wide range of complex physical and mental health problems.

Sarah has extensive experience working with clients who have sustained traumatic brain injury and those with significant mental health issues. She has had considerable involvement with recruiting and establishing care and therapy teams as well as managing various transitions.

2003 – 2006

Bedfordshire/Heartlands PCT
Sarah worked as a Case Manager and Occupational Therapist with clients sustaining acquired brain injury. Responsibilities included completing community Occupational Therapy rehabilitation programmes for clients, acting as a specialist advisor for community teams, accessing specialist rehabilitation placements and setting up vocational rehabilitation programmes.

Assisting with the development of Health Care Reforms in the Caribbean. Responsible for developing consultation process, draft policies and procedures and acting as specialist advisor to legal consultants.
