Overview
Belinda qualified in 1995 from Canterbury, Christ Church, University College with a BSc Hon in Occupational Therapy (OT).
She has had a varied professional career working in the National Health Service, Locum Services and Social Services. Gaining experience in manual handling, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and neurology with extensive knowledge and expertise in major adaptations, specialist equipment for adults, children and young people. She has provided consultancy services to local authorities, home improvement agencies and housing associations regarding adaptations and planning of disabled living accommodation and educational facilities.
Belinda has worked with, led and provided supervision and training to both occupational therapy staff and other professionals, while continuing to work alongside clients with complex needs. She has knowledge and experience in the recruitment and employment of care staff and managing care teams for clients with complex needs.
