Overview
Sue qualified in 1981 from St Loyes School of Occupational Therapy with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
Since that time she has gained vast clinical and managerial experience and skill in working with adults and young adults with complex disabilities, their families and care teams.
Sue joined Independent Living Solutions Ltd as a Case Manager and Occupational Therapist in 2007.

Case Manager and Occupational Therapist with ILS working with clients with orthopaedic medical and brain injuries.
2002 to 2006
Working with Action for ME and more latterly as an independent Occupational Therapist working with patients suffering with chronic fatigue syndrome in the community

Voluntary work with Headway, a charity which assists victims of brain injury.
From 1996 to present
Carrying out assessments and writing medical legal reports for personal injury claimants dealing with both claimant and defendant cases.
1982 to 2008
Social Services Community Occupational Therapist, working with clients from the fields of spinal injury, orthopaedics, oncology and neurology. A major part of this work includes assessment of need for equipment and adaptation and provision of support in order to enable clients and their carers to remain as independent as possible.

Basic Grade Occupational Therapist in the NHS in various specialist fields including orthopaedics, hand injuries, rheumatology, neurorehabilitation and geriatrics
