Overview
Kate qualified in 1994 with a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Northumberland at Newcastle (Previously Newcastle Poly). Kate has worked extensively with children in mainstream schools in the States and the UK, and acute and long term neurology. She has also worked for Social Services as an OT with rehab and short and long term teams, providing equipment and minor and major adaptations in private and council accommodation and residential homes. Kate was jointly responsible for the setting up of OT services in to the Contact Centre for Southampton Social Services, and as such was the OT professional resource for clients and staff over the Southampton area.
Since joining Independent Living Solutions Ltd (ILS) in November 2005, Kate has been a Case Manager and OT for children and young people with ABI and CP, and adults with a variety of difficulties.
