Areas of work
Since qualifying as an OT, Susie has worked primarily with children, adolescents and their families in various settings. She has developed specialist knowledge and skills working as an OT with children with both emotional and behavioural problems and with physical and learning disabilities. Assessment and provision of equipment and home adaptations for disabled children and young people are specific areas of expertise.
In addition Susie has been regularly attending Southampton University as an external lecturer since 2002, teaching both 2nd and 3rd year OT students. She has also undertaken various private training contracts delivering home adaptation training to qualified O.T’s.
