Overview
Catherine qualified in 1989 from the Liverpool College of Occupational Therapy with a Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
She has wide experience of working with children with complex disabilities. Her particular areas of expertise lie in the treatment of individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury and Developmental Coordination Disorder.
Catherine has considerable experience of working with, leading and training multidisciplinary teams as an Occupational Therapist since 1989 and joined Independent Living Solutions Limited (ILS) as a Case Manager/ Therapist in 2004.

Private Practice, including work for ILS as a Therapist and Case Manager. During this period Catherine has provided home and school-based treatment for children with brain injury, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, DCD/ Dyspraxia, cerebral palsy and clinical supervision for colleagues. Additionally she has held an advisory role with local services for seating and postural management.
1998 - 2004
(Swindon) Senior OT in Paediatrics (Complex Needs and Pre-school) with a Specialist role in Alternative and Augmentative Communication. She also specialised in postural management and seating for children with complex needs; sensory processing and hand skills. During this period Catherine also completed her Bobath Training for the treatment of cerebral palsy.

Family Career break.
1992 - 1995
(Coventry & Leicester) Senior OT with caseload predominantly of children (pre-school to teenage years) with Cerebral Palsy in both mainstream and special school settings. She set up a Paediatric OT service in the Midlands and developed a special interest in handwriting and perceptual difficulties. During this period Catherine completed Sensory Integration training.
