Heather has developed a broad range of experience & knowledge through 25 years of social work with adults and children with complex disabilities. Heather has constantly updated her understanding & practice in partnership with her clients, their families, care networks, and fellow professionals. Heather has a wealth of understanding & insight into the challenges of compromised health & disability. Presently a part- time local authority social worker, Heather is developing private case management for ILS and her interest in clinical hypnotherapy.

Heather qualified in social work in 1986 on the CSS Hertfordshire scheme at Cassio, Watford. Heather is a currently registered & validated member under the GSCC (General Social Care Council) and GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register) having gained distinction diploma in clinical hypnotherapy. Heather is also a professionally trained advocate. As a social worker of over 20 years Heather is constantly undergoing all aspects of training and continuous development within all areas of current theory, practice and legislation. Heather is committed to highly person centred and solution based work. She aims to listen, and to empower those she supports, towards the greatest choice & personal independence that they wish to achieve.
