Overview
Belinda qualified in 1995 from Canterbury, Christ Church, University College with a BSc Hon in Occupational Therapy (OT). She has had a varied professional career working in the National Health Service, Locum Services and Social Services. Gaining experience in manual handling, rehabilitation, orthopaedics and neurology with extensive knowledge and expertise in major adaptations, specialist equipment for adults, children and young people. She has provided consultancy services to local authorities, home improvement agencies and housing associations regarding adaptations and planning of disabled living accommodation and educational facilities.
Belinda has developed considerable skills in strategic management, OT policy and practice, research and teaching OT students as a visiting lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church College.
