Many years of clinical, supervisory, and academic experience within the specialties of Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, and Rehabilitation and Medical Psychology.

Involved in developing and implementing models and strategies of psychological interventions in the rehabilitation and mental health of people coping with various physical, medical and psychiatric conditions, including Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Experienced in helping to develop and apply working models of team and interdisciplinary collaboration with a rehabilitation orientation, within the fields of mental health, brain injury and physical disabilities.

Special interests: processes of adjustment and coping with bereavement and loss within the rehabilitation process; sleep disorders and pain management; facilitating the interaction between the individual coping with complex, often traumatic situations or chronic conditions (across the life span) and the systems in which he/she functions (this can include the family, the medical system, the rehabilitation team, the world of work, education, social and cultural milieux, etc).
