Personal Information

Lin qualified with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Manchester School of Physiotherapy in 1998. She has specialised in the management and rehabilitation of adult neurological conditions for over 10 years in the NHS and private settings.

Lin is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and she is an active member of the specialist groups for physiotherapists working with clients with neurological conditions (ACPIN) and physiotherapists working with acupuncture (AACP)

Lin uses her knowledge and experience to work with clients by looking at their physical disability alongside the psychological and social aspects of their case at the same time. This provides a clinically excellent, holistic and patient-centred approach, suited to clients with brain injury and complex disabilities. Lin’s thorough assessments enable clinical reasoning, which is not only specific and highly analytical, but also broad in the sense of being able to identify complex problems. Lin likes to work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the high level of communication required for quality client care whilst also providing a professional and streamlined approach.

Lin is confident and experienced in training the client, their family and carers to carry out exercise and therapy programmes.

Lin has had excellent feedback from past clients, who have remarked that they enjoy their sessions with her, due not only to achieving their goals, but because they (and their carers) feel that they are being listened to. She sees this as being vital in building working relationships with her clients/patients, which in turn assists in achieving the optimal outcome.
