Sara Goldstone -

Sara qualified from Trinity College, Dublin with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy. Since qualifying Sara has gained extensive experience within community and clinical settings working with adults with brain injury.

  • Wide range of experience working in mental health, orthopaedics and with older adults
  • Extensive experience working with adults with acquired brain injury
  • Clinical experience in acute and post acute rehabilitation services within the NHS
  • Case Management with a particular interest in catastrophic cases involving brain injury
  • Assessment and development of return to work programmes and finding alternative productive activity for clients if return to previous role was not appropriate.
  • Experience working within a neurobehavioural model with a community focus to support clients to achieve the greatest independence and participation despite significant physical, cognitive and behavioural difficulties.

Professional Information

Sara is committed to continuing professional development and is in her final year of a Masters degree in Neurological Rehabilitation. Sara is also the South East Regional Representative for the Specialist Section for Neurological Practice (a specialist section of the College of Occupational Therapists).

Occupational Therapist, Wairau Hospital, New Zealand - providing assessment, treatment and equipment for a rehabilitation (stroke) ward and medical and surgical wards.
