Client HR Manager
Ellie joined ILS in November 2007, and heads up our Client HR department.
Unlike most case management companies, ILS has a large, dedicated HR team who manage all recruitment and employment issues on behalf of our clients. Employing and recruiting staff can be very difficult if you’ve never done it before – which is often the case for many of our clients who require support staff.
Ellie’s team are all qualified HR professionals and will work alongside case managers to guide and support new employers and manage support staff and carers on behalf of the client. This includes:
- Managing advertising and recruiting
- Obtaining references and DBS checks
- Checking candidate’s eligibility to work in the UK
- Ensuring support staff are trained and supervised in compliance with Care Quality Commission requirements
- Carer’s indemnity insurance
Ellie is an Associate Member of the CIPD, and her areas of expertise are employment law, employee relations, and performance management.
Her specific role within the Client HR department is managing the HR team, HR Client strategy, employment issues and legislation, disciplinary and grievance procedures and recruitment strategy.
When Ellie isn’t in work, she teaches gymnastics twice a week and enjoys spending time with her family and friends and walking her dog.
Director of Client Services
Sarah joined ILS in July 2011 as an Operations Manager and now a Director of ILS.
Sarah is a qualified social worker, and prior to joining ILS worked in a variety of adult social care roles in learning disability and brain injury teams in Wiltshire and Essex. Within these roles Sarah gained a working knowledge of health social care legislation and supported individuals and families within the community using these structures to meet the needs of and safeguard vulnerable people. She is registered with Social Work England, and her area of expertise is working with adults with complex needs.
Sarah is responsible for overseeing ILS client services, including case manager and rehabilitation provision, client HR, care quality and support services functions.
