Marketing & Business Development Manager
Sandy is a Prince2 qualified Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience of marketing, PR, communications and business development in both the business and not for profit sector. She has a long history of working closely with vulnerable young people and adults living with a disability and has used her skills to capture case studies for news articles and fundraising campaigns through film, animation and the written word, interviewing clients, support workers and their families. Bringing to life the work of an organisation is what Sandy is all about.
She leads a small but dynamic team at ILS and has overall responsibility for all marketing activity, growing new business relationships whilst developing existing ones. This includes meeting with referrers and using feedback to inform continuous business improvement, overseeing the ILS website, social media activity, articles and advertising, attending conferences and exhibitions and managing ILS’ charitable giving programme.
Outside work, Sandy is an avid gardener and loves wildlife. She enjoys cooking, country walks and crafts but as an antidote to these gentle pastimes, she also loves cycling, sailing and motorcycling (pillion only) and was a one-time banger racer and rally co-driver!
