Case Manager Profile

I am a competent and skilled Occupational Therapist, with over 16 years of experience working in children’s disability and social care settings.  I have excellent communication skills, I am calm under pressure, and I am able to adapt to new situations. I work well in a team but am also confident to work autonomously. I enjoy working with children in their own environments and am motivated to empower children and young people to achieve their maximum independence.  I use my clinical skills in my work as a case manager and am skilled at assessing complex clients to make recommendations  to help them achieve their potential. I have experience and specialist skills in  home adaptations, equipment provision, moving & handling support and risk assessment, managing support workers and leading multidisciplinary teams.
