I am skilled in developing rehabilitation programmes for adults and children with brain and orthopaedic injuries and complex issues including clients with mental health conditions. Using excellent communication skills, I am able to coordinate rehabilitation packages and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that my clients' goals are met.

Previous Clinical Experience

2008 – Present Case Manager for ILS Case Management.

Experience includes:

Working with children and adults with acquired brain injury, complex physical, learning and social communication difficulties and mental health conditions.

Working in multi-disciplinary teams to develop rehabilitation goals, including behaviour management strategies for adult and younger clients.

Close liaison with Visual Impairment advisors, Speech and Language Therapists and Educators to develop communication passports, identifying appropriate assistive technology and arranging advocacy around communication of needs for adults and children.

Assessing, progressing and completing major housing adaptations through liaison with architects and builders to meet adult and young clients’ needs. Relocating clients to live independently in the community supported by appropriate care and managing those care teams.

Advocacy and assistance with vocational rehabilitation programmes.

Case management for clients in Sweden and Holland, travelling regularly. Advocacy for client and client’s family with consular authorities to repatriate within EU.
