Occupational Therapist
Adults
I have worked extensively as a Case Manager with adults who have had a Spinal Cord Injury. I worked for 10 years as an Occupational Therapist at The Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre and through this, I gained an immense amount of experience and specialist skills in this field. I also have experience in mental health, upper limb disabilities and cerebral palsy.
I am energetic, innovative and tenacious in my approach when working with clients and their families. I have experience in supporting adult clients and their families particularly in the areas of understanding their injuries and the implications of this on their daily lives and facilitating and empowering independence.
I have very strong belief that good and clear communication is essential when working as a Case Manager and always relish the opportunity to work with a good rehabilitation team around the client.
