Julinie Mohamad Nasir

Julinie is a Highly Specialist Physiotherapist who has worked with children and young adults (0-25 years) since 1999. She specialises in neuro developmental conditions, including Cerebral Palsy and profound and multiple learning disabilities. She enjoys finding practical solutions to enable patients and their families to be as functional as possible so they lead enjoyable, meaningful lives.

  • Assessment and treatment of children based on the Bobath Therapy approach
  • Gait analysis and orthotic management

  • Massage and Myofascial Release techniques Pre- and post-operative input for children undergoing orthopaedic surgery, Botox injections and Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR)
  • Soft casting and serial casting to increase flexibility and range of motion of tight soft tissue
  • Setting up and reviewing 24 hour postural care, including recommending appropriate equipment
  • Setting up physiotherapy programmes and training family members, carers, teaching assistants or therapy assistants

Based in North West London and available to work across Central, West, South West, North, North West and North East London as well as some areas outside London within the M25 (North); working flexible hours to suit the needs of the client and their family. Available to work some weekdays, after school hours and Saturdays.

Julinie worked in the Bobath Centre, London, for 4 years and has over 10 years NHS experience through Child Development Clinics and in a Special School for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities. She has also worked in a special school, Child Development Clinic and on paediatric surgical wards in Malaysia and Brunei.

In addition, Julinie has an interest in encouraging people with disabilities to participate in sports to improve their quality of life. She has been a volunteer swimming classifier both in Malaysia and the UK for swimmers with a physical disability and has classified both beginner swimmers as well as semi professional swimmers. She was also once the Team Manager for a national under 18 Boccia team.
