Veena is a highly skilled, conscientious Occupational Therapist (OT) with a wealth of experience working with adults with complex neurological and medical co-morbidities including Strokes, Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury, Progressive Neurological Conditions (such as Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis), Spinal Injury and Polytrauma following life changing accidents.

Veena employs innovative approaches/activities to achieve client self-sufficiency - based on a sound knowledge of her clients and their goals. She specialises in the assessment, treatment and evaluation of adults with neurological conditions and has a special interest in cognitive and vocational rehabilitation following Brain Injury.

Previous Clinical Experience

Veena has extensive knowledge of working with adults following acquired and traumatic injuries both within the acute and community NHS Services and within the Private Sector. She has 23 years of experience in the comprehensive assessment, evaluation and treatment of adults affected by complex medical and neurological conditions. Veena is also very experienced in the management of chronic conditions and disabilities.

  • Full Membership of RCOT (Royal College of Occupational Therapy)
