Yvonne has extensive expertise in risk assessment, Moving and Handling assessment and care planning for individuals with complex needs such as cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, dementia, and epilepsy. Working as a Manual Handling Advisor enables Yvonne to bring together her clinical skills with her Moving and Handling expertise.

Senior Occupational Therapist in a Community Team for Adults with a Learning Disability (CTPLD).

Yvonne extended her practice in 2017 by qualifying as a Moving and Handling trainer and has most recently been delivering training to clinical staff in an acute hospital.

Prior to this Yvonne held many senior roles within the community, hospitals and residential units. She has over 25 years’ experience of working with clients with complex physical needs.
