Danielle has a background in social work where she had worked in a variety of roles with adults and young people with complex needs for over 16 years. Danielle enjoys getting to know her clients and their families well and wants to understand what is important to them.

Danielle is highly skilled in assessing needs across a wide range of disabilities and  in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care. She is experienced in organising and monitoring care packages and considering various options to support individuals within their own homes or in supported living environments. Danielle is also a qualified Best Interests Assessor and is highly knowledgeable in the areas of mental capacity, safeguarding and continuing health care.

Danielle brings a dedication and passion to  her case management work to support and advocate for her clients and  ensure that they get the highest quality input.

• Determining whether a deprivation of liberty (DoL) is occurring and whether it is in the individual’s best interests.
• Evaluating the necessity and proportionality of the DoL, balancing the individual’s rights to autonomy and safety.
• Working collaboratively with care providers, families, and other professionals.
• Providing clear, evidence-based recommendations regarding the authorisation of DoL.
• High quality written reports that meet legal and professional standards.

Clinical Lead

All of our Case Managers are supported by a member of the Clinical Lead team to provide peer review, maintain clinical standards and provide continuity of service for all clients.

Catherine Sherrington Catherine joined that Clinical Lead team in 2024, having gained six years’ experience as a Case Manager. A qualified Physiotherapist, Catherine’s area of specialism is in adult brain injury.
