Profile
I am passionate and committed to providing high quality care. I have extensive experience providing assessment and case management for clients with multiple pathologies including catastrophic brain and spinal injury. I am skilled in offering education and training to professional staff, relatives and support workers.
One of my clients, Roger, used to be a keen cyclist before he suffered a brain injury as a result of a road traffic accident. As well as recruiting a multi-disciplinary team to support Roger with his rehabilitation, one of the most satisfying things has been recruiting a support worker who has been able to accompany him on bike rides as well as trips to the driving range at the golf club. It’s always rewarding to be able to restore a former hobby or pass time for a client and I know Roger is especially thankful for this.
“We didn’t know what a case manager really did to start with and now we couldn’t live without her. Elaine was able to give Roger his life back.”
Gill, Roger’s wife
