Jennie is a nurse with many years experience in various settings. She has worked as a case manager in both the statutory and independent sector for over 14 years.

Jennie is a committed and empathetic case manager who has experience supporting clients with a variety of needs including brain injury, cerebral palsy and complex care. Jennie uses her skills to complete thorough assessments to identify areas of need and make recommendations to address these, whilst keeping the client and their family at the centre of the process.

Jennie understands the impact of catastrophic injuries on clients and their families and is able to support them through their journey with compassion. She looks forward to getting to know clients and their families and developing a strong working relationship with them.

Case management for clients with catastrophic injuries.
Working within the rehabilitation code to support those requiring rehabilitation to optimise their recovery and independence and support them returning to work if able.

2012-Aug 2017 Acquired Brain Injury Nurse for Integrated Continuing Health Care of East Sussex
Utilising all my previous neurosurgical knowledge and skills in combination with experience of community nursing to provide complex case management for those with an acquired brain injury.I have worked across 3 Clinical Commissioning Groups’ and had a caseload in excess of 60 patients. Autonomous within my role and responsible and accountable for the ABI budget.

I networked within the field of acquired brain injury and sat on the SABIF steering group. Have previously been responsible for the running of the team of case managers providing support, supervision and appraisals. As a team, we were instrumental in the implementation phase of personal health budgets

Sophie joined our Clinical Lead team in 2024, following over ten years of experience as a Case Manager, supporting clients with a wide range of complex needs. Along with her background in occupational therapy, Sophie has a particular specialism in working with adults who have sustained spinal cord and brain injuries.
