Jenny’s background, as an occupational therapist, has involved working extensively with clients who have complex physical, sensory and learning needs. This has allowed her to develop excellent skills in providing an accurate and holistic assessment.
Jenny is flexible in her approach to problem solving, and has considerable experience working with clients to address their overall rehabilitation and care priorities, as well as finding practical solutions for day to day issues, particularly in the areas of self-care, leisure, education, and vocational activities. Jenny thinks ‘outside the box’ to help address client’s needs, working closely with family, carers, legal teams and others within a client’s support network.

Previous Clinical Experience
2009 to Current Occupational Therapist for Home Independence Services
Providing specialist advice on housing adaptations for children, young people and adults, through private or local authority (DFG) provision.
2006 to 2011 Occupational Therapist for the Epsom Integrated Rehabilitation Service
Providing assessment and rehabilitation for adults and older people within the community, as part of a health and social care multidisciplinary team. Roles included equipment provision, mobility assessment, complex moving and handling assessment and carer advice.
2005 to 2006 NHS Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Providing assessment and treatment for children with a range of disabilities including, learning difficulties, autism, developmental coordination disorder, head injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy; working in schools, the acute hospital, clinics, and the children’s homes.

Tim moved into the role of Clinical Lead in 2011, having spent the seven years prior working as a Case Manager for ILS. An adult nurse by background, Tim’s areas of specialism include adult brain injury and behaviours that challenge.
