Karenmarie Smith - Joint CEO
Karenmarie joined ILS Case Management in 1998 and is the joint Chief Executive alongside Kate Maclean.
She is an Occupational Therapist and advanced member of BABICM, and her first role with ILS was as a Case manager/OT. She has been instrumental in ‘building’ ILS over the years and, as a member of the Board, remains involved in the business strategy and future of the business.
Kate Maclean - Joint CEO
Kate joined ILS Case Management in 1997 and is joint Chief Executive alongside Karenmarie Smith.
She has an extensive background in sales and marketing, and since joining ILS, has been instrumental in the company’s success using her business and marketing background to inform the strategic planning and growth.
Sarah Ransome - Managing Director
Sarah is a registered Social Worker and joined ILS in 2011 drawn to the companies values and ethos. Committed to providing excellent client centred case management support, Sarah works to ensure that ILS is well placed to meet the needs of clients and referrers.
Emma Ferguson - Business Services Director
After joining ILS in 2014, Emma joined the Board of Directors to lead on the People and Business strategy for the company. As a Chartered Member of the CIPD, Emma has over 20 years’ experience in human resources and has a real passion for employee engagement and ensuring a positive working culture and environment.
Susie Quinlan - Operations Manager
Susie is a qualified Occupational Therapist and joined ILS in 2007 as a paediatric Case Manager. She then went onto become one of the Professional Mentors and joined the ILS management team as the Learning and Development lead in 2013. She has been one of the ILS Operations Managers since 2020.
Janet Cook - Operations Manager
Janet is an Occupational Therapist and joined ILS case management as a Case Manager in 2007 and has also been part of the professional mentor team.
Janet has been one of the Operations Managers since 2020.
Lucy Thorn - Head of Referrals & Development
Lucy is a qualified Occupational Therapist and joined ILS Case Management as a Case Manager in 2011 and has also been part of the professional mentor team supporting the Case Managers on a day-to-day basis.
Lucy joined the Case Management Services team as Head of Referrals & Development in November 2024.
Joanna Neilson - Clinical Quality Operations Manager
Joanna joined the ILS Operations team in November 2021 and is our Clinical Quality Manager. Within her remit she oversees training, policy and all things Quality related.
Joanna’s background is in nursing having qualified as a Mental Health Nurse in 1998 and has been working in Clinical Quality and service development for over 18 years.
Christina Thornton - Finance Manager, ACMA CGMA
Christina joined ILS Case Management as a Trainee Accounts Assistant in October 2009 and was promoted to Finance Manager in 2014 to lead her skilled team in managing the business finances.
Ellie Conway - Client HR Manager
Ellie joined ILS in 2007 and has been managing the Client HR team since 2014. She is CIPD qualified with a Diploma in Human Resources Management.
Lisa Moneypenny - Payroll Manager
Lisa joined ILS in 2018 with over 20 years of payroll experience & has been part of the Management Team since July 2022. Lisa & her team manage payrolls for ILS Clients, working closely with Case Managers, ILS HR & Support Workers to ensure all Care Teams are paid accurately & on time. Fully compliant with payroll laws & regulations including employment legislation & administering workplace pensions schemes.
Sandy Fitzgerald - Marketing & Business Development Manager
Sandy is a PRINCE 2 qualified Project Manager with a wealth of experience in marketing, communications and media from both the business and not for profit sectors.
She is responsible for building and maintaining business relationships and manages all aspects of marketing for ILS.
Lindsey Jojic - HR Manager
Lindsey joined ILS Case Management in 2013 as an HR Administrator and is a Chartered MCIPD member. She has been HR Manager since 2022.
Amy Price - Support Services Manager
Amy’s background is largely in administration within the financial services industry. She joined ILS in 2017 as an Administrator in the Support Services team. She has been coordinating the team since 2018 and became Support Services Manager in 2023.
