ILS Case Management ranked 4th in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026

We’re pleased to share that ILS Case Management has been ranked 4th in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2026 (Medium category) by Great Place To Work®.

This recognition reflects something that has long been a priority across our organisation: creating an environment where people feel supported, respected, and able to thrive in their roles.

A culture shaped by our people

Great Place To Work® rankings are based on anonymous employee feedback, making this recognition particularly meaningful. It reflects the lived experience of our team and how they feel about working at ILS.

In our most recent survey, 100% of employees said that ILS is a great place to work, compared to 54% at a typical UK-based organisation.

That sense of shared positive experience comes from a culture where people care about one another, feel pride in their work, and experience fairness and respect across the organisation.

Wellbeing as part of everyday practice

At ILS, wellbeing is not a standalone initiative or a set of one-off activities. It is embedded in how we work every day.

We know that the work our teams do is both complex and emotionally demanding. Supporting wellbeing therefore means creating the right conditions for people to feel able to carry out that work safely and sustainably.

This includes:

  • Supportive leadership and approachable management
  • Open communication and regular opportunities for feedback
  • A culture that values balance and flexibility
  • Investment in professional development and growth
  • Strong peer relationships and a sense of shared purpose

As part of HCML, we benefit from a wider culture of support while continuing to develop our approach to wellbeing in a way that reflects both our values and the needs of our team.

These elements help ensure that our team can continue to provide high-quality, person-centred support to the children, young people and adults we work with.

Reflecting our values in practice

Our values — Supportive, Integrity, Client Centred, Quality Focused and Positive — guide how we work, both with our clients and with each other.

Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing highlights how those values are experienced internally, not just expressed externally.

It also reinforces something we believe strongly: that a positive, healthy working environment enables better outcomes for everyone.

A shared focus on wellbeing

Reflecting on this recognition, Managing Director Sarah Ransome said:

“We are proud to be ranked 4th in this year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing. Supporting our team is fundamental to how we work at ILS, particularly given the nature of the work we do.

We remain focused on creating an environment where people feel supported, respected and able to develop, and this recognition reflects the importance of that ongoing commitment.”

Continuing to build on this recognition

While we are proud to be included in this year’s list, we see this as part of an ongoing commitment rather than a fixed achievement.

Listening to our team, reflecting on their experiences, and continuing to evolve how we support wellbeing will remain central to how we move forward as an organisation.
